Is not Faith all about accepting God's words blindly.....of course the reasons is most of what is written the Bible is convincing except for a few which we may have not the prudence to deal with right now.But steadfast faith will ultimately make you realise it is true.......well unless you give in to being faithful how can you understand the works of God? I do not wish to attribute anything I do not understand to any negative factor such as ignorance.....I feel trust will eventually make you understand that which you seem not to undesratand so now.

Attending church didn't make me a Christian but I remember coloring pictures of Jesus as a very young child and thinking I like that person. As time went on, I was introduced to other religions and thoughts and gave them good consideration. I went thru some hard times on life and at the worst times, Jesus was there to help me make it. Since having computer access I have reseached Jesus and have come across all those ideas that degrade Jesus but it made me stronger in my belief. I don't know what I or the world would have done without him. Even if he doesn't get me into heaven, he has enriched my world.

i was raised a catholic. then been to many faiths including a born again christian. now, am a happy metaphysics guy =)

if being christian is all the rage, and god is the center of the christian world, then answer this:

god is all powerful
god is merciful
then why do bad things happen???

there are no buts, no ifs, esp if your teachings is about truth. but if this so called truth is based on humans/ men, then it is corrupt, and therefore flawed.

thus, god is not all powerful
and god is not merciful

because if god is all that you preached him to be, then this should be a world of milk and honey. but it is not. so, WAKE UP!!!

I am a Catholic but I wouldn't say a blind one.
I respect others beliefs and believe they should do the same.
Who really knows who's right and who's wrong, no matter what we may believe.

Your question is non-sensical in its implication that to have faith requires a lack of logical thought. Christians would argue that non-believers lack reason.

Not at all. I look at things through a biblical perspective, but I also look at things reasonably and logically. You have to, especially these days!
