I have never had any and I'm 19. I live in a bario part of town and always see them hanging on the bicycle cart that goes around the block selling snow cones.

Good may be an overstatement. The first one you eat might be okay. The second one will be kinda of oniony. The third will be salty. By the time you get to the fourth one, you'll realize that the most interesting thing about Funyons is that they're shaped like an onion ring and that you can twirl one on your finger.
My suggestion? Wait for a hot day and get the snow cone instead!

They taste weird to me. They're supposed to have an onion like taste I guess, but they just have an odd, indescribable taste, although I know people who LOVE them. I think it's just a matter of taste, so get a bag and try them out.

Funyuns are crunchy, very slightly sweet with an onion powder taste.
I do like them.

They are shaped like onion rings and taste like a mildly crunchy onion powdered-like chip, but I guess you can't call it a chip. Anyway, they're good!!

They taste kind of like onion flavored potato chips, shaped in circles. They're lighter and airier than potato chips are, though.
They're ok - not great, in my opinion.
