This isn't a joke. Lots of scholars question Jesus' sexuality these days, in light of newer historical documents and revivals of movements in centuries past. It can be noted that only twice in the bible is homosexuality ever criticized, and never once was it by Jesus. Sodom and Gomorrah, Jesus claims, had nothing to do with homosexuality but inhospitality.
I am not asking if Jesus was sexually active. I doubt he had sex with anyone. I'm just questioning, since the bible uses the Hebrew word "love" for romantic love to describe his relationship with James and the man he resurected from the dead, Lazarus. Also, scholars speculate still about the meaning of the passage where "the favorite apostle" is seen "lying on his breast".
Furthermore, homosexuality isn't a sin, and Jesus never preached it as a sin. Paul also claims long hair on men is a sin, and that masturbating is a sin. So if these are sins, I think a good portion of the world is damned, as well as Jesus (long hair, anyone?)

Jesus is also noted to have the qualities of both a man and a woman in his gentle nature, and seems unattracted to women. I'd say that alone is a small case for this argument.

I appreciate your sincerity. It's a good question. Here's another one: Could Jesus have been straight? Is this question blasphemy? Maybe even more so, because those who agree would agree to the proposition that He had a sexual orientation at all. That being said, he could have been gay. He could likewise have been straight. Straight people and gay people both sin, so if He were either and didn't act on any impulses that would lead to sin, it would be amazing either way.

He could have been, as any person could be. I don't know of any facts to support the idea or disprove it.
There are writings from (I think), part of the Dead Sea Scrolls mentioning that he had a great friendship with Mary Magdalen, that Jesus considered her to have understood his teachings the best of any of his disciples, and that some of the other disciples were jealous of his affection for her.
But again, there is no suggestion of any sexual relationship between the two. Also, if he felt such deep affection and were heterosexual, one would think he would have married her. On the other hand, there is no suggestion that he ever had any such relationships with men, either.
Then, one must consider that the Bible was written and compiled by people who wanted to promote Christianity, and portraying Jesus as openly homosexual (if he was) might have hindered that effort.
So there is no way of knowing the truth. Whatever the case, his sexual orientation doesn't diminish the value of his teachings.

Hmm...well when you read the stories about Jesus Christ in the gospels you read he had a very strong relationship with God His Father who is a spirit. And he is an example for Christians everywhere to have that same kind of relationship with God, through Jesus Christ. His communication with God had a lot to do with prayer, even at nights and being away from people. This holy relationship with God the father did not allow God to commit any kind of sin. Indeed he asked the Jews in John 8:46 which of them convinceth or convicts Jesus of any kind of sin. And they could not do that.
2 Corinthians 5:21 "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."
1 Peter 2:22 says "Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:"
Hebrews 4:15 "For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin"
So based on these scriptures and traditional doctrine we can with confidence say Jesus Christ was never gay.

According to Christian belief, we don't think that Jesus was a part of any sexual or romantic relationships. And that's no big deal -- many men and women even today decide to sacrifice those things in order to fully dedicate their lives to God.
Therefore, there is nothing in scripture, or in the Gnostic gospels, that suggests anything about Christ's sexuality. Is there anyway to know whether this might have been something he struggled with? There is really no way to know for sure.

The bible makes no reference to Jesus being attracted to men. If one is going to start supposing things to be true without any basis then you are opening the door to absurdity. What next Jesus playing poker with aliens. One argues well we don't know he didn't.I argue then why not stick with what we do know, how he chose to express himself. Jesus made no mention whatsoever of expressing sexual appetite. This really is only one of an unending attempts to attack Jesus. More conspiracy theories than anyone in history. One says he faked his death, another says he married Mary Magdelede, another says they found his tomb another says the disciples stole his body, one says he never even existed...Clearly some are uncomfortable with what he had to say or they wouldn't be trying so desperately to undermine him.

It's a strong possibility. He never married, lived with his mother and preferred the company of men.

Yes, he was. Judas was his lover.
It was just dumb luck that they would have a bitter spat just as the Pharisees needed someone to betray Jesus.

Perhaps asexual ? The (limited) historical texts I've read, as opposed to Biblical texts, have him as heterosexual.
