1998 was the last of the 240SX in the USA. In order to get a high performance version you will have to do all the work your self. Start with the best and straightest 240SX you can find and you might even find a 5 speed car (Good Luck) 1995 and up were the S-14 body style Find a JDM Motor to transplant or have a west coast tunner preform the conversion. Put in a 350z motor out of a wreck with it's 6 speed gear box engine wiring harness and computer.

That is incorrect. The 240sx was only offered in the S13 (89-94 coupe/convertible, S13 Silvia), RPS13 (89-94 fastback 180sx) and S14 (95-98) models. The S15 Silvia is vastly different in bodywork and mechanically different as well. The S15's SR20DET engine is a drop-in swap though on the S13/RPS13 and S14 models though.
