Of course God of War 3 will be better than Halo 3. In Halo 3 all you do is run around shooting. I love first person shooting games, but I like action/adventure games like 10 times more than first person shooters.
And plus, for me first person shooting games get pretty repetitive after a couple of days of playing, but playing God of War games are fun to play and actually takes a bit of brain power to beat the game because of puzzles, and different types of enemies that can be beaten different ways or enemies that can only be beat one way and it must be figured out.

deponds on the person there are many differences for one halo is a shooter while god of war is not their game styles are totlally different but personally i say halo 3

apples and oranges big guy a better question is will GOW3 be better then ninja gaiden 2 and yes it will
or will Killzone 2 be better then halo 3 Graphics wise HELL YEAH!!!
