because they believe in God, they just don't want to OBEY Him, so they say He isn't there.
BUT HE IS THERE.
Right beside them.

The very fact that we do not conform to any religion means we are free to partake in learning and debate about any religion. It's interesting to try and understand different cultures and different beliefs (not to mention the more a person, of any faith or non faith, understands about other faiths the more tolerant they become). The lack of faith means we can look at all religions without bias. I may think the religion of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is silly (although very funny) but it makes about as much sense as Christianity, Judaism, Islam or any other religion.
Plus, if only people who shared the same belief answered these questions, MAN would Yahoo Answers be boring!!!

Because I have studied many religions and philosophies and am able to answer questions on these without bias.
Tonight I have been able to answer questions on Islam, Catholicism, Scientology, Christianity, Buddhism and Confucianism, among others.
All of these have been answered honestly in a factual manner without an attempt to convert the asker to my point of view, which I believe is what Y?A! is supposed to be.

Believe what? Why do Christians always answer questions about Paganism? Sometimes to be snotty and condescending, but sometimes to enrich the discussion.
Honestly, if you want a place where you can just talk about stuff you already know with people who totally agree with you, this is not the place. Quit expecting it to be. What fun is that, anyway?

Um... lots of the ones I answer either A) talk to or about us, or B) are something I could have an opinion or suggestion on, potentially a valid one.
I tend to stay out of most of the other general boring ones.

Are you serious?! Why does belief preclude discussion? One need not be comitted to an idea to hold a discourse on the subject. Or did you just want to piss some people off?

Because the majority of atheists know more about Christianity than most Christians, that's why. We can discuss and argue the finer points of belief with believers because we KNOW what we're talking about without being blinded by the "faith" most profess.

Because God placed in all a longing to follow Him but they are refusing to follow which is their free will to do so. But they will never have peace in their hearts so they are continually fighting and struggling with their demons. And this is why they are filled everyday on this category spilling the hate and disguist that they have within themselves. They are too proud to admit that there is a God. But one day they will bow their knees to Him and confess Him Lord and Savior. Pray for everyone of them that makes such foolish remarks. Their eyes are blinded and they know not what they are doing. We can make a difference with prayer for the people on this sight.
