I always wondered bc the man tries to sue anything that breaths a word against his belief. It makes you wonder if he actually believes in it, cant relate to others, or just sees a good chance to make some more doe.

Oh, and actually they do have to pay money. To attain his "level" of knowledge you have to fork over around $500,000.

WOW that is some very interesting information.
Not even the professional scientology-bashers like ZC ever told us that. Where did you get this info?
His lawsuits seem to be about the same as others who have their name used. Gibson, Spears. Does he really sue more than other hollywood people?
Not sure about the relate thing. He seems joyful and doing well with the world. More than other hollywood folks. So I figure he probably believes in it.
What level is he? Where did you get the price tag? The end levels are done by auditing which has an hourly rate. I would like to see something that says what level he is and how much he paid. Is there an official document? He seems to have gotten high up pretty fast. How did he end up spending that much per hour with his busy schedule?
Even sites like xenu and scientology-lies don't mention them getting paid. Is there a site I haven't seen? Are they paying enough to tempt someone as rich as he is even though they must know how much its going to cost them in faithful fans and job offers?
(In case you aren't picking up on the sarcasm I might pat you on the head for your intention but you don't help the cause when your information is crap. Do more reading.)

Personally, Tom Cruise needs to meet up with me at my church. On Second thought, never mind, he would be jumping on the pews and trying to start Scientology in Alabama.
Obviously, he needs to remain an actor to funnel money to the cult that Scientology is (search Scientology in any news website and you will find numerous resources for that statement). Unless his "Pastor" is secretly funneling money to Cruise to tout Scientology on the broadcasts he appears on.
Best thing for the booking people on the networks to do is to not book Cruise on another program and focus on other topics, like getting us out of this war we're in.

Oh, I'm sure that he really is a true believer. Scientology is a conglomeration of religious beliefs and philosophies. It's very hierarchical. You really don't make money by being a member. It really winds up costing a lot of money to take all of those classes.

Tom isn't in it for the money as a) he is already a multi -millionaire and b) he has to pay them! They don't pay celebrities as they are so wacked in the head they gladly flock to Scientology.
I think he really does believe in it that is why he is such a fanatic and strong defender of the cult.

I think he is in it for the fame. If he is in it for what it really is, he must be quite dumb. Because Scietology is nothing but Science Fiction. I like to watch SciFi movies every now and then, but I am sane enough and smart enough to know they are not real. People that believe in Scientology crap are living in a fantasy life. They should wake up and start questioning their belief.

I don't think he needs any more money than he already has from his acting career, so that would mean that he actually and literally 'buys' that far fetched religion that just might be the most ridiculous and absurd one out there, and this, in spite of heavy competition.

If you think anyone really knows what goes on in the mind of Tom Cruise, then you need to head to the "cult" section of yahoo answers.
Scientology would be covered there.

Scientology is a SciFi brainwashing cult.
Been there, and saw the silliness. Got away.
It was always about the money, since L Ron couldn't sell his novels.

Either way, he's still a moron. Scientology is a stupid money-grabbing cult. Plus, it's dangerous. Just google the name Lisa MacPherson, and you'll see what I mean.
