i began cutting myself last year, i stopped for a short period, Recently, i began cutting myself again. I attempt to sustain myself, but i failed, i let my inner evil takes over me. my cutting getting wost than last year, i cut myself four times today. I do not want to die, and my depression from last year is getting better, but is not gone. i can not believe i cut myself like an addiction. i told three people that i cut myself; my sister and my two friends. they all told me to stop, i can't stop. i feel so scary that i will go back to that darkness last year, i tried so hard to get out, it seems the harder i try i am leading to the inevitable end. Help me!!! what can i do? i am so scare.

I'm so sorry that you are going through this. Unfortunately cutting can be an addictive behavior. It is very difficult to stop once you have been doing it for a while. You have tried to just stop and realized that you can't so now I think you really need to seek help elsewhere.
Maybe try and talk to your sister or friends again, as k them to come with you to see a Dr or someone like that. It may be less scary if you take someone with you. I know so many people don't like going to the Dr's with problems like this, especially if they still live at home (I don't know how old you are) as they have a fear of parents/family finding out. It really is worth it though as a Dr can find you the right help to deal with this and stop once and for all. If you do find you need to tell your parents, again perhaps ask your sister to sit with you and talk to them about it.
I also find it useful to write down what I want to tell the Dr/parent/friend before hand. It is easier then if you get upset or don't know how to bring the subject up, you can just show them what you have written.
Best of luck, I really do hope you find the right help to get out of this.

Purposing to harm yourself, like cutting is so sad. What is even sadder is when you sense it is out of control, or even controlling you.
Picture, will you a person who hates something inside so much that she/he wants to punish yourself, or to cut the evil out.....there is such fear and hatred mixed together. It works that way with bulimia too. The belief that to remove something evil from your body - to punish - will remove the sadness and all you fear is inadequate or ugly about you.
These are false messages though. It simply doesn't work that way. Some people get caught in that cycle. They can't find their own way out.......not that will last. A Doctor's help is needed, psychologist, therapist.
There is a way out. There can be freedom from depression and your fears. You can be at peace with your body. You can actually like yourself............if you want to. If you truly want help see your Dr. Tell him you're a cutter and you want help.
If you don't have a Dr., walk into your county's Mental Health Office. You can find help there.
The next step is up to you. If you're really scared to take that step alone, take a friend with you. Or you can write on a 3X5 card what your problem is, and hand it to the Dr.

I understand, been there.
First off, I know seeing a doctor is hard because, well, you can't see a doctor if no one knows.
If you're a teenager, which I'm assuming because teenagers have this problem, your friends should tell someone.
You'll be pissed if you're exposed if you're anything like me, bu don't worry. Eventually you'll be grateful. You don't need medication or whatnot unless you feel you do, but therapy will help, even a little.
It makes a difference to just talk to someone, and eventually you'll start to feel a little better.
Talk to a friend, and let on that you want them to help you. If they're good friends like I'm sure they are, they will help.
You can get over this, and nothing lasts forever.

Kido go and seek help, go see a Doc. do what he sayes and you will be a happier person soon. Don't go that way, try to call a friend when you ready to do this. Ask your closest friend to help you throu and if you have jerks for friends, then seek help in a church, find some people a minister to talk to, just until you over it. It will help. I will send some energie for you. Go and see somebody NOW
