I asked the question going into this week who should I start, Grease or Brees? Of course, ever single person said Grease and I agreed so I did and we all know the results. Grease had 4 ints and 6 total fantasy points. Brees had his 3 good week in a row with like a 75% completions, 300+ yds and 4tds with 0 ints and 37 fantasy points. I didnt look at the schedule for next week yet but I know Grease has a bye. Regaudless, there is NO WAY i should even think about not starting Brees, correct? My other QB option is Kurt Warner but regaurdless of who they are playing I cant pass on Brees anymore? Would everyone be in agreement? I am so pissed about this week, anyone that plays fantasy knows there is nothing more frustrating then when things like that happen.

its a lot easier for the people that dont have brees on there team to say that he should always be the starter, you didnt have to suffer through the first 4 games when he threw 1 td and 10 ints and was averaging 4 fantasy points a game. Now that he has had a few good weeks in a row and he looks like his old self its much easier to comment on. Hind sight is 20/20

I am a fellow Brees owner.

I benched him this week in favor of Favre.

I too didn't feel I could trust him against the #11 pass defense.

I also played him the first four weeks and plunged my team into the Darkness. 1-3 I started.

This year is as painful and difficult as I can remember, and I have played from the Beginning.

I know your pain. Luck is a huge part of fanasty sports. Perhaps Brees is now YOUR GUY. Maybe he can deliver you to the title.

Griese is a game manager, and will never be a gunslinger. His best days are mediocre. True courage plays Brees.

You will rise. Believe.

Patience will be rewarded. Do you know how many people DROPPED Drew Brees? Many.

You will rise.

Believe me i'm with you only this was the week that Peterson went off for like 200 some yards and some TDs against the Bears defense. The week everyone was saying no dont start him he wont be able to do anything against them. He goes off and gets at least 30 some points and guess who was sitting on my bench Peterson...i start him this week and i get 7 points total...wtf. I dont even know how i started in his place that week but it didnt matter because i would have won had i started him.

If i had just went with my gut instead of everything else.

I would never start Griese over Brees unless it was a bye week for Brees and even then i would try and find a fill in for that week Brees is out.

I do feel your pain seriously.

That sounds like a decision I would make. Sometimes, I overthink things instead of sticking with the usual lineup. Although, in your defense, the Bears were playing the freaking Lions at home. The same Lions that gave up like 400 yards passing to McNabb.

I hate to make you even more crazy, but Brees goes against Jacksonville next week, a pretty good defense. And Warner takes on Tampa. I'd still stick with Brees. At least they're at home.

Need I remind you Grease was a 2nd string QB at the beginning of the year and Brees made a playoff run last year? There isn't a question as to who to start with those 3 QB's. Now that Leinart is hurt, Warner is probably a better choice than Grease, but it doesn't matter, Brees is your man.

I feel you.
I also have Brees, And I started him because my other QBs are Campbell, and Culpepper and I didn't like their matchups.
But on the flip side of that, in my online league, I had Warner(Who was off), and Kitna who is not up to par as of late, So I
picked up Lemon in FA, and got burned against Brees.
Just goes to show "On any given Sunday".

I agree. If your QBs are Brees, Griese, & Warner, the only time you shouldn't start Brees is if he has a bye week, or maybe if he's going against the Patriots.
