Which one should I get as my first car (and don't tell me none of them, because it is going to be one): 1998 LS 400, 2002 GS 430/300, 1998 SC 400, or 2002 IS 300? I like all of them, but which one would be the best. I think I like the LS the best, but what do you think? They all cost around the same, anyway.

Oh, that's hard. I think that I would buy the LS 400. That car is timeless. It has a classic look to it. Even though it's old and the design is old too, it still looks beautiful. Plus, that car holds up really well. I drove a 96 LS and you would not believe how well that car ages.

I have considered all these for my first car...
1998 LS 400, I just don't like the look.
2002 GS 430/300, I still don't like the look.
1998 SC 400, I don't think its worth it for more than $10,000 or more because its a tn year old car, and it usually has high mileage.
2002 IS 300 is probably the best valued, best looking, and safest of your choices. It's also sporty and a very good first car because it has good safety ratings. The only thing I don't like about it is that it seems cheaper than the other Lexus's and the fuel economy is bad for a car its size and power.

My next car will be the LS, but I wouldn't get one as old as 1998. So my next pick for you would be the 2002 GS. But it depends on what kind of ride you want- bigger, comfy, or sportier?

the LS has the most power out of all them so you should go with the LS 400.it was also the first lexus brought out and has more stuff added to it.

IS 300 but get a new IS 350 with 305 horses cuz my older brother got one and i drove it =) its freaking fast as hell and plus the interior is nice too ..like auto dim dash gauges, keyless entry and starting engine, standard 6 disk cd changer, leather interior, heating and cooling on the seats (very comfy) and other cool stuff

i like the IS because it is sporty. Especially the new IS. Holy COW!!!!!! tht thing is a rocket!! but othrwise i'd prob go with the LS cuz its the top of the line.

I like the Lexus IS the best because it has a lot of cool feaures, including paddle shifters for the IS350 model.

I own a 2004 IS300 and I love that thing! It's in red too. Since it's the smallest of the bunch, it's highly maneuverable and sporty. Chicks will dig you when you roll up in your IS300.

Lexus IS 300. Throw a 2JZ in that beast haha. They used to be Toyota Altezza's but yeah. But on the real they are great cars got a lot of torque and please believe they will run.

I definetli sa the IS if your a sports car fan ( almost everi1 is a sports car fan ). Or get the GS.
