The belief that a cosmic Jewish zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove all the evil forces from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake from a magical tree... makes perfect sense, right?

Oh so I got it wrong? Do Christians even think twice about what they read?? Watch this interpretation on the story of Sodom and Gomorrah... absolutely ludicrous.

Oh and by the way I'm not singling out Christianity. I think all religion is completely absurd. I have read the bible, old and new. Maybe you guys should pick up a science book or maybe read some philosophy sometime, eh? Expand your minds for a change.

Wow, the inanity of some of your statements are beyond words... I'm not going to ask these questions anymore because they only further my lack of faith in mankind. Zombie Jesus have mercy on us all!!!!

As much as someone could argue that you're just twisting things to make it sound funny... I gotta say... you really put it in perspective. I think Christian beliefs only seem believable to Christians because they were raised in a society where most people around them are Christian and so it all seems normal to them. Just like the equally silly beliefs of Hinduism seem believable to people in India.

OK...you're wrong! There....I said it.
Now, how about pointing out things that are strange with other religions....like Hindus thinking cows...COWS...are dead relatives, or Muslims thinking Mohammed was a holy prophet, or the Japanese still burning paper effigies of a deceased person's belongings so the smoke can carry them up to the afterlife, or the Jews thinking eating a pork chop is bad.
Is Christianity the only religion that's PC to attack? In the words of William Shatner..."GET A LIFE"

1. Jesus is not a zombie. a zombie is a body brought back to life by a supernatural force. if you recall, jesus resusitated, but not with a human body, but with a glorified body, so your wrong there
2. He doesnt give u eternal life if you "eat his flesh" he gives u eternal life if you accept him as your savior. so u have a wrong concept there
3. He doesnt remove all the "evil forces" or as i call them, sins from you because he doesnt want any perfect people. he forgives ur sins but he doesnt make you perfect. your intent in becoming christian is to let God mold you, let His will be your will so ur wrong there

i just gave u 3 reasons, of many, why your wrong. thank you for your time

I think you would be a lot better off if you would not focus so on the stories humans have written to explain the Christian mythos. Concentrate on just God, instead.

Strip the mythos away, and focus on what is left. That's where the beauty and the strength lie.

Most people on here have prob. read twice the amount of books that you have, have a higher IQ and can write out a better worded and more articulate question than you... Just Joking !!!! or maybe not !!!! but, for real, you are soooooo very wrong, but then again, if you are not FOR God then you are his enemy, so that alone makes you unable to understand His Word........ but, there is HOPE in Jesus for even you !!!!!! go in peace....... God bless

That is so, so wrong. That's not even what it is.

The belief that a man was born of a virgin, and the son of God, came to earth to save humanity from all of its sins. You will go to Heaven if you accept him as your Lord and Savior, and in some traditions take part in communion. Praying for salvation is common, so that God can lead you away from your path of sin, which came from the initial disobedience of Adam and Eve.

There you go, I edited it for you.

actually lets talk about the woman... now she eats from the tree of knowledge of good and evil... what is not understood is when she understands she reports to the human race that god is evil and life is good.. and nature is good... religions are evil... the problem with being the church is that evil got to be the first to define good and evil... that is why as human conscience evolves and the concepts of right and wrong begin to play a role.. we often found that religions (first catholic and christian) definition of good and evil are often the opposite of right and wrong... So strong is our conscience that the churches has had to cater to the human laws of conscience... women's rights... racial equality... peace.... children's rights, gay rights... all these came first despite the church and usually with strong christian opposition

More sense than a random explosion of nothing randomly creating a random planet with random lifeforms that somehow make a random change into beings with no point or purpose.
