I want a tattoo that represents how i feel.. a reminder..I think there's been a lot of bullshit in my life.. many things that happened.. that made life very hard.. but i need a reminder to move on..that im stronger.. that i have a life i want to live.. that wahtever that stuff was.. only made me stronger.. i DO NOT want to hear about how tatttoos are forever.. how we shouldnt get one.. this and that.. i want serious tattoo ideas.. if you can.. please help.. i wanted a medium to large one on my side.. between my hip and breasts.. because of work i want something i can hide.. but something for me.. something i can look at and will remind me..

Why not just get the word "STRONGER" written in a really cool script up your side? Then everyone will know exactly what it means. Although, I like some of the other ideas, but you could add all kinds of cool stuff behind it, or whatever to make it look daintier.

Since of where you want it, look for flower meanings. You could pick the flower from the meaning, have one or a certain number that might even represent something, then have your favourite flower on either end.
That is only one suggestion. But, think about the kinda style you like (in everything, whether it be tattoos, clothes or even how you like your home decorated) just what you like things to look like. Swirly lines? All neat? All over the place? etc. Then think about what images represent how you feel (i know that can be especially hard as I'm trying to do that just now) even just look round the internet.
Think about it for a bit before actually getting it done! And good luck!

I'd suggest take some of the things that you have been emotionally scared with and incorporating them into a tattoo. Such as heartbreak and what not... go to your local tattoo shop and tell them some of the things that you want to represent and ask them to draw you up something with those ideas. That really would be the best way to get something custom that means something to you.

You sound like a person that has an outlook in life that you are able to handle hard times and able to get through the muddy periods in your life and get to do clear sailing. Why do you want to put a billboard on your torso to remind you of your past. Keep your body the way the creator placed you onto this earth unblemished. I'm certain that sometime down the road you will have second thoughts of advertising your past and wish you didn't do tattoos. Best wishes

Do links of flames running up your side with a heart in the middle of it... Run barbed wired through the heart and within the heart, do some gold flames... IMHO, I think it symbolizes the crap we deal with day-to-day but within you (that gold flame) is something that will never go out...
That way, when your day is in the crapper, go to the bathroom hike up your shirt and let the ink inspire you to keep on keeping on... Much luck and stay strong...
It's safe to say, it'll look "hot"... Pun intended...

A Bumble Bee, aerodynamically, they should not be able to fly. Their shape, body size, and wing size really shouldn't allow them to fly. Kinda symbolizes that it doesn't matter what people say, you can do anything you want as long as you put your mind to it.
