I didn't watch the Nostradamus (sp) special. I don't even have cable. I've been hearing about the 2012 thing since I was a kid, but I think it'll be another 2000, without all the millenium hullaballoo.

Let me put a thought in every bodies head with this one. If there is a 7 year covenant with the anti-christ that is broken in 3 1/2 years then the rapture will be actually June 21st 2009 3 1/2 years before the 2012 date.
hum what should we do? How about live our lives and get over this stuff.

Ah, someone else watched the Nostradamus special.
I'm sure Al Gore will still be hollering about global warming. And we'll probably have a fake/staged gas shortage like we did in the 70's. Other than that, we'll just have to fight long ticket lines for Shrek 5 and the late night rush to get the Playstation 6 at midnight on Christmas Eve.

well the global warming scare is dying almost as quickly as the fear of that hole in the ozone layer.... which, by the way, is still getting smaller. the Red Scare was a pretty real threat, but it ended up being nothing major. the y2k thing was a bust. 2012 will go on uneventfully except for man-made destruction (wars, etc.) no matter that the mayans said. after that i think al gore will decide a giant asteroid is hurtling straight for us and will hit us by 2017 unless we all stop driving SUV's. aftern that i think Nostradamus saw in one of his "visions" that the world would come to an ent about 2050....

i am sure someone will find something-there are always doomsayers and nay sayers going on about something-i am not sure how many times the world has ended so far but it seems that its demise is always late in arriving---smile and enjoy the night
