Most of you are answering hypothetically.
My mother has told me that I am a brat, and deserve prison. Both of my parents have told me that the world would be a better place, if I killed myself.
And of all people, I know how much that hurts. It's not right. At all. She's probably right; the world is better off without me. But telling me that.. The worst thing she ever did to me.
As far as I'm concerned, you can tell someone that according to your beliefs, one would go to Hell. But be neutral or nice; never rude or threatening. Don't EVER try to scare them. When the person you're talking to feels insulted or hurt, then you've gone too far.

Oh jeeez...
Sometimes I wish I could tell MY mom that about my younger sister haha, but if I were you I would'nt. It's not going to prevent the child from being in prison at any point in time, and I don't think the mom is going to appreciate you're honesty.

It is not OK in either case. That's considered judgment. And judgment about anything is not our job. Its God's.
The only thing you can do is live your life for God and show God's love. Telling someone that they are hell bound will only drive them further away.

You can only guess if a person is destined to go to jail. Going to hell is cut and dry not a iffy thing.

Is it ok if I don't tell someone that the building they're in is burning down? If not, than what makes it okay to not tell someone that they're destined for Hell?

Sure it is OK to do that, the best way is over the phone and from a different state, then stay the hell out of her neighborhood. lol

If you know of an absolute way to prevent the kid from his destiny in prison, then it IS an act of love to tell her!

Only if you know the mom could you say such a thing. And then it should be approached in a delicate way. I'm not sure exactly what you should say, but it shouldn't be just blurted out either.
