And no this isn't an abortion question. It is hypothetical.
No matter what you did the baby would still grow up to be a brat.

Brat- gives parents hell during raising, end up being a habitual offender spending most of his/her adult life in prison.
(for the purpose of this question)

You know, that's really a rather good description of what did happen to me. When I was 30, my doctor recommended I stop taking the pill because, he said, they didn't really know what the long-term effects of it were. I decided that I would not make a good mother, there was no one who was likely to make a good father in my life, and my family history suggested the child would be as "difficult" as my father, my sister and I had been, and I had my tubes tied.

But now that I'm 60 and have no grandchildren to spoil, I regret that decision.

What is usually the cause for a child to turn out to be a brat?Unless there is a physical defect, an attention disorder or the like, it is the lack of parental guidance , or discipline that brings out the problem. So answer your own question. Can you teach, guide and discipline your child?

So whats so bad about being a brat? I was a brat. Most kids are brats. The truth is you find very few little angels and most of them are boring.

Yes because a lot of the times 99.999% the children are a reflection of their parents. I have awesome kids but if I thought that they would become brats yes I would still want them but I would examine myself to see what I'm doing wrong

Sure. I was a brat but I turned out nice as an adult. Mom is very surprised, given what she went through. She really likes me as an adult. I guess she's glad she never snuffed me. Must have been tempting...

What if I had an abortion, and tried again for a baby that wasn't a brat?

ALL "normal, healthy" babies seem to grow up to be brats, atleast for a spell.

yes, i'd still want the baby.. it's not 100% that our child reflects our attitudes.. what matters, is the way you raise the baby, the environment and manners that you should teach him or her.. don't worry, if u teach him or her well, he or she would'nt be brat.. good luck!

Delusions are often functional. A mother’s opinions about her children’s beauty, intelligence, goodness, et cetera ad nauseam, keep her from drowning them at birth.
