I think you might have a false sense of what Christianity really is. Many people do but I hope that you can open your mind and listen to what I have to say. Christianity does not say that you can do whatever you want and then ask forgiveness. To be a Christian you need to believe and recieve. This means that you believe in God and recieve him into your heart. Once you recieve him into your heart, he will start to change you into the person that you were meant to be. Of course, we will all make mistakes in this world full of sin but when we are truly repent our sins and want with all our hearts to become better then our sins will be forgiven. It is not just a simple matter of saying sorry, you have to really mean it in your heart. God is a wonderful God and therefore he is a loving God. He loves us more than we can ever know and does not want us to have to spend eternity away from him. However, he can not let sin into heaven or else it will be spoiled and end up like earth. This is why he had to wipe our sins and why he sent his son Jesus. Jesus dying for us shows God's love in the most magnificent way and Jesus rising from the dead is a magnificent sign of God's awesome power. Jesus dies so that we might see this and get to know God better, accepting God into our hearts and asking him to wipe our sins away. Because God gave us free choice, he will only wipe our wins when we ask him.
I hope that this has cleared up any misconceptions that you might have had about Christianity. Thankyou for listening and God bless you.

REALITY:
1. Many more individuals are born than can possibly survive, thus there is competition for limited resources
2. Within this vast number there is variation, and because of this variation some of these individuals will have an advantage--however slight--over others
3. The ones who have the advantages are more competitive and thus they are more likely to obtain the limited resources
4. The ones who are succeeding in securing the limited resources are more likely to reproduce and thus pass onto their offspring the more competitive traits

BTW.....why does anyone pray?? Doesnt God already know everything and doesnt he control everything??
Does the person who prays the most get the most?? Is it a contest with God?? Does he keep score??
It occurs to me that praying is very selfish b/c God already knows it all and controls it all, so it makes no sense to me....unless of course God is just pure fiction....mmmmmm....

Once again I will tell you this, and this time I do hope you are wearing your reading glasses...... Faith is NOT a religion......... Faith is NOT a religion......... Jesus was the son of God who was the LAST sacrifice needed to BRING mankind BACK into fellowship with God....... Relligion has NOTHING to do with salvation....... Religion has NOTHING to do with salvation....... And maybe if you wrote the Bible that silly thing you say about being damned from whatever never to return, might be YOUR way...... It is NOT Gods' way.......
and maybe you should write to your congressman about the laws of the good ole USA, maybe you would vote for the death penalty for any one who, ohhhhhh, lets say, Jay Walks ???? after all , you believe there should be NO forgiveness for mistakes don't you ??? I mean , geeeee, lets throw forgiveness out the window...... lets have NONE of that........ That way when you are some one you love, speaks out of turn or gets angry, you will have permission to just take them out behind the wood shed and shoot them...... Yup, I think that sounds just Okieeeeee dokieeeeeeee....... NO FORGIVENESS !!! I'll start making the banners tonight...... go in peace....... God bless

I dont know about Christianity, and I would have to agree iwth you in that it isnt fair or just to forgive someone who committs sins and then comes along and asks for forgiveness. a few days later he committs this sin again and asks for forgiveness again.
However, about Islam it is different. We all make sin and mistakes since we arent perfect, and God Almighty is Merciful and Forgiving. However, you cannot just gain His Mercy and yet you do allt his sin, you need to fulfill certain requirments.
You need to admit thatyou actually did something wrong, alot of peole ask for forgiveness just for the sake of asking for forgiveness without caring or admitting what they did was wrong.
Next you need to repent. You need to seek the forgiveness for what you did.
Last you need to make sure you dont return to that sin again.
If you fulfill these requirements and truly go on wiht life in that way you will be forgiven. However the final judgement is with God Almighty and what He says in the end goes. HE forgives whom He wills and punishs who HE will, however we know that He is Just and what HE does is Just.

You are forgiven of everything, Rape, murder, child molestation, steal from your neighbor, have no respect whatsoever for another human being or this earth - anything and everything - BUT - if you don't except Christ as your savior you shall be doomed to the hell-fires of eternity.
Let me say it another way. You can sin, have at it - do whatever you want to do [that is the morality they claim is outstanding] - AND then, as soon as you claim Jesus as your savior it's voila - your sins are forgiven and you are in heaven eternal.
This is clear christian thinking - This is the truth of the faith. Just believe in Jesus and your all set, not just for a little while - Forever.
What a good philosophy to live by. Do we understand why the world is full of nuts yet? No accountability whatever.

thats the biggest question... why would a God thats so perfect allow people that are all sinners but yet God loves his creation enough to be willing to pay for what he has made. the only way for him to atone for the sins of the world was to have a perfect sacrifice to take all the punishment for us. thats why jesus came and lived the perfect life and died the most painful torturing death in history for you just because he doesn't want the thing he loves the most, you, to be seperated from him forever, he loves you and wants to be with you and thats why he allows sins to be forgiven, if there is true repentance which is seeing what your doing is wrong and trul being sorry for it and trying to stop. would you want to be involved in something in which your already deemed to go to hell when you start... before you try to slam your creator think about the power he has

...and that's how it would be if a finite human mind were running things instead of an infinitely wise, loving God. God sees into the heart, so if someone thinks they " ...can do whatever they want, then ask for forgiveness, be forgiven, then go to heaven..." they may find the afterlife a little hotter than anticipated. We have to SINCERELY repent in the eyes of the One Who knows.

because we are all sinners
and we need it
Jesus paid the price for us by dying on the cross for our sins so they could be washed away
in the Bible it doesn't say that we need to be perfect it says we should strice to be like more loike Jesus who was perfect but it also says that we are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God but then again that is why Jesus died for us so that we can have eternal life in heaven
and to answer this
BTW.....why does anyone pray?? Doesnt God already know everything and doesnt he control everything??
Does the person who prays the most get the most?? Is it a contest with God?? Does he keep score??
It occurs to me that praying is very selfish b/c God already knows it all and controls it all, so it makes no sense to me....unless of course God is just pure fiction....mmmmmm....
**prayer isn't a matter of telling God what is going on
it is our way of communicating with our Creator
we pray to talk to God like if you had a best friend and didn't talk to them then what would happen to the friendship? (you would grow further away right?) same with God if you don't talk to him (through prayer) you won't be as close
hope this answers some questions sorry if i didn't!
PS not trying to shove any of this down anyones throat this is what i believe and so yah any questions email me at my sn =]
God Bless

The system isn't what is foolish, it is quite often the people who try to teach their version of Christianity.
The truth is that forgiveness comes AFTER repentance. Once we repent our sins, we are told to not commit them again.
More can be said.
GOD bless

I didnt even bother to read yr entire "question"....Jesus Christ...our Lord and Savior.....preached forgiveness. It is in the Bible! It is what we are SUPPOSED to do! the Lord's Prayer...or...The Our Father- includes these words:
"....forgive us of our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.."
It is the prayer Jesus taught the Apostles. It is what HE said to pray. And no......as soon as we sin we are NOT "damned" from religion. God always forgives. Thru Christ, God forgives us and hears us always. Im no saint ...and definately no theologian...but I KNOW what I know!
