Lady in Red
by Chris De Burgh

What do you guys think about this for a first dance - bride and groom?

I just wanted some opinions because it is lady in "red" but I am wearing white. So, I wanted some input. It is still a beautiful song but I still want to make sure it will "fit."

It would be a good song, I think, except for the whole "red" thing. If the bride is dressed in anything close to the traditional white wedding dress, it would seem like an odd choice to me.I, too, agree that is would be better later in the evening.

Some friends of mine had their first dance to Van Morrison's "I'll Be Your Lover, Too" and that was one of the best choices I've ever heard. It's from the "His Band and Street Choir" album.

In the end, though, if this is YOUR day then pick YOUR song, and forget what we're telling you.

And one more thing: I agree with Reba. What the heck is Victor talking about?

There are so many out there to choose from. It's hard to make suggestions because it really should have some personal meaning for the bride and groom.

Lady In Red makes a better last dance song, especially if the bride changes into a going away outfit that is red, but it may also be appropriate if the bride has red in her gown, but not otherwise.

Here are some sites that may help:

One more thing, does anyone have a clue what Victor is talking about??? Did he even read the question?

Pretty song, but yeah, a little weird for the first dance. We're having "This Never Happened Before" by Paul McCartney - it's very unique and down to the point and VERY sweet. Check it out.

No song is there to dance,
do you know the praise song
do you know the worship song?
if you are saved one in christ than you will taste that how to dance..
Dance is not comes from out side,
if you get somethings in innerside(heart) surerly you will get the Dance to out side.
i am Dancing in christ from many years, it willl never end and never stop until my death.
