It's hard to find a boxing club depending on your city, check with the police department, most new amateurs start off at P.A.L (police athletic league).........if not there are a lot of trainers that have gyms where you will pay a gym fee to train. DO NOT try to train yourself or be trained by someone without much experience in boxing, because it is very easy to develop bad habits, and once you have the "muscle memory" it is extremely difficult to correct.

#1 SWIM- it will help develop your shoulders, chest, arms,etc...
#2 Take up the DRUMS -it will help you with your hand speed
#3 Jump Rope Every Day
#4 push-ups, pull ups, sit ups
#5 do things that require hand/eye coordination..
I think George Forman trained by splitting wood..
#6 watch boxing frequently, and watch the ESPN Classic fights too.. There's a lot you can learn from watching fights -old and new.
#7 learn anatomy and learn where every weak
spot/pressure point is on the body.
#8 swim swim swim swim swim - run, etc. whatever youneed to do to build your endurance.
#9 be professionally trained-
#10 it mayhelp to have a speed bag/heavy bag, but if you don'tknow howto use it, you'll learn wrong, you need training. I wouldn't suggest learning on your own. Build your muscles /endurance first- It requires commitment, butyou can do it.

you need toclear all thiswithyourparents since you are a minor.

Find a Police Athletic League (PAL) sponsored boxing gym. They usually take donations so its pretty cheap and go there 5 times a week. Ask your coach about nutrition and eating habbits. Run ALOT. Forget everything you think you know about boxing or fighting before you show up.
