Ismael's Mother was an Egyptian I was told or read, so the Egyptians are not nesasarilly the desendants of Ismael.
What great nation? Does this nation have borders or had borders or are they a group of people? Are they his desendants by ideology , religion, choice, or by blood line?
Prove your point by using the Bible if you can.

MUSLIMS

They are indeed the Muslims - Arabs. Not much is mentioned of them after the story about Haggar. I have oftened wondered about them. I do not think God leaves loose ends. People get very bent out of shape when I mention Muslims being from the bible. They will argue that it is a false religion. But I cannot buy into their "logic" about it because the Muslims are in the bible and they are decendants from Abraham. To me this is too huge to just brush it off.

Well, it's pretty well known that Isaac's (mother Sarah) descendants are the Jews and ultimately the Christians, and Ishmael's (mother Hagaar) descendants are the Muslims. Newsweek called it "the greatest sibling rivalry of human history". Muslims refer to themselves, Jews and Christians as "people of the BOOK (Old Testament) who are monotheistic and have the historic and religious background beginning with God's covenenant with Abraham. This is NOT selective or secluded knowledge it's pretty much right there in GENESIS.

The descendants of Ishmael are the Arabs. Interestingly, the descendants of Esau are the Palestinians.
