God is like Nike......... He will just do it.

EDIT: no they don't oversell it, what they do is over charge it.
the scriptures are all there, where the mistake is they have put a dollar sign on it, and the price has already been paid. 2000 years ago.

I don't know about the pastors. Don't watch name it claim it sermons. There are a lot of positive promises in the Bible and God speaks of liking to give His children good gifts and blessing us. There should always be a good balance to all things though. The Lord gives and the Lord also takes away. Some Christians act as though poverty is some kind of virtue. I disagree with that. However if God purposes for one to be in poverty then so be it and handle it with grace.I don't believe blessings are evil when they come from God. I'm not speaking about greed or the love of money.I enjoy blessing my pastor and I believe everyone should. There is a diffence though when a pastor seems to be continually begging and living in a mansion and living like a millionaire. There probably is something off in that picture. My pastor works at Walmart, preaches three sermons a week and teaches Sunday School class. He deserves to be blessed....I did enjoy the slogans.I thought they were cute and I can almost picture God being amused by them. God bless!!

Indeed. But the Holy Bible CLARIFIES both:

- what His Grace is: "pure" wisdom from above
- what His Grace is not: not IMPure grace + law

- what His Grace will have: mercy that is merciful unto all
- what His Grace will not have: not then, not now, not ever

Eg: I will have mercy(grace) and not sacrifice(law).
Ps 40:6; 51:16; Hos 6:6; Mt 9:13; 12:7; Heb 10

Which (law/grace) things are an allegory and a mystery.
Solve the allegoric mystery in time, or not and all perish.
Pst: by the using of laws all perish: Colossians 2: 20-22.
Pst: all perish is all the KofG within you, if you shld perish.
Perish the thought of one all perishing by the using of laws.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

The "name it and claim it" pastors are usually misguided as to the gospel message. And yes, they oversell Christianity. T

They do much more damage for the church than good.

Matt 4:8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. "All this I will give you," he said, "if you will bow down and worship me."

And the televangelist said, "I name it, and I claim it, and just one little bow certainly won't hurt."

Cheers,
Bruce
