I have this fairly large tattoo on the underside of my forearm that I really don't like anymore, and I am sick of hiding it. There colors are mostly yellow with some black outlines. I wanna get possibly a koi fish or a dragon or a tiger over it.

Anyone know if this is possible?

I have very, very light skin and the tattoo is about 4 years old, if that helps.

And yes, I REALLY don't like the tattoo anymore

what you're describing sounds totally coverable! the MOST important thing you can do when considering a coverup is research artists who do coverup tattoos. NOT ALL ARTISTS CAN DO THEM WELL!! it would really suck to have a coverup tattoo that looks worse than the original you know? take your time and be thorough and chose the best. be prepared to pay what it takes to do it right and GOOD LUCK!! i just got my coverup finished and i am so happy with it. yay!

Go talk to the artists near you and ask them. Also ask them what will cover it. Depending on the size and shape and how dark the existing tattoo is will decide the outcome.

If one artist can do it go see another. Dont take the first no you get, there are many artists that are great flash or custom artists but few that are GREAT cover up artists!!!
Be paitent and look at their portfolios and ask questions!

If you get the right tattoo artist its possible. with the light tones on the tattoo its seems that it could work out in ur best interests. then there is always laser removel, if all else fails.

Go get a consultation with a tattooist. They will be able to look at colour, lines etc. and come up with a suitable design, but I'm imagining it'd be very possible :)

It should be possible, but if color is desired they will probably have to be dark, or maybe only black will work.
