Now that you have a new camera, invest in a few books on beginning photography. If you do an Answers search, you will find folks make recommendations on good photography books frequently "Understanding Exposure", by Bryan Peterson is a good one.

.You have some ok snapshots, lacking in exposure control and especially in composition. (Composition is what most folks are thinking about when they say "the eye".) Also, this is way too many pictures to think about individual critique here on YA.

On land/sea scapes, it is important to keep the horizon level. I did like the first soldier image, the color and mood there is fine, but the composition is poor and one guy has his feet cut off.

Get some books, visit some websites, look at professional photography in the photography magazines or National Geographic. Start studying what you see. How does the photographer compose and execute the image to call attention to the subject. Look at focus, composition and lighting. Look at images you like, and think about why you like them. Pay attention to the light around you and how it changes. You can learn "the eye" if you are motivated to do so. Keep learning and practicing, and you will see your skill improve. Enjoy your new camera. BTW, read and study and study some more your new camera's manual!

woahhh WAAAAAYYY WAAYYYY too many. They are not bad and I hope you enjoy this and keep taking pictures. Play around with cropping and taking pictures from different angles ( looking up or from top to bottom). In a lot of your images the subject is also dead center, which makes the image a little boring. Try having it more on the side, or more sky than ground and vice versa.

I only looked at 5 and they weren't bad, but they weren't anything exceptional either. They were nice snapshots. A little better understanding of composition should do a lot to improve your photographs. Don't rely on cropping alone, learn to compose your photograph in the viewfinder. Don't get discouraged, you've got potential.

Nothing stood out as fantastic or amazing. What you need is not a new camera- it's lessons. Go to a local community college for a simple beginner's course and take it from there. Best of luck. If you have passion, I'm sure you'll improve.

Way too many! Next time post just a handful. Or even just one!

They're okay. I'd crop in farther on some, like the soldiers in goosestep.

Don't put your main subject dead center. Keep your horizons out of the middle too.

I'm gonna have to agree with John T on this one. You need to work on you composition a bit more. The pics aren't bad but I would consider these more vacation snap shots than art. Keep on trying and to get more ideas check out professional work, always helps me.

Absolutely too many to even consider looking at all of them. I did look at a few and they aren't bad. A photography class would definitely help. So will the new camera.
