Ever since my camera got a bit wet, the "Print" button is lighting all the time, I can't use the zoom function, nor can I operate the menu system, or delete/scroll between the photos in the Playback Menu. Could it be possible that I need to take it to a Canon repairer, or could it be that the Print button blocks everything down? (I'm not at home, so I cannot use my transfer cable to check it if I could use all the menu functions after I have printed some images..) Thanks in advance.

Water and electronics just don't mix. Your camera most likely has suffered permanent damage, which could be quite costly to repair (if it can be repaired at all).
A cheaper option would be to buy a new camera, especially if the zoom and other important functions are not working.
Look at it this way...the camera is over two years old and Canon has released no less than 38 other various models and updates after your camera model.
You should be able to buy a new and better camera for less than what the A610 originally cost.

good luck...

Water and gravity are the leading killers of digital cameras. Repairs will be at your expense and likely cost more than a new camera.

R.I.P. Canon PowerShot A610. You can use it as a paperweight and begin shopping for a new camera.
