I think everyone is wrong and the answer lies somewhere in between the pages, just under the surface of it all. The truth is hidden in all the great religious teachings its just a matter of seeking for yourself.

The thing with religion is that, really, it is a very personal thing that should not even carry a label. Going to church isn't important. Not eating certain foods or only eating certain foods isn't important (from a religious standpoint). Traveling to certain places or relying on certain symbols or artifacts isn't important. What matters is that you find a moral balance within yourself - a kind of guideline that you decide, on your own terms, to more or less live your life by. The key here is to be spiritual, rather than religious - have faith, but in yourself, not in something you can't necessarily see. And don't worry about Heaven or Hell or things that go on after you die - because right now you're still alive, and that is what you should be focused on.

If I'm wrong, I'm going to be very angry. The #1 most important part of my belief system is not judging anyone as "bad" or "evil"...in fact, I've recently decided that people shouldn't be judged at all...good or bad. We just are. We're all doing our best, and we'll all get "there" when we're meant to. So, if I die and find out that God expected me to be judgmental the whole time, I will NOT be a happy camper. But I'd rather spend eternity in a burning pit with a bunch of other people who don't judge, than be surrounded by white puffy clouds and a bunch of holier than thou jerks.

well.. yes i will be humbled, though i think I'd still praise god... and i've thaught about this long and hard, but, the way i look at it.. is that if i don't believe in something than i WILL be wrong, the way i came to bvelieve this is that if when we die there is nothing, we wont be there or conscious at all to know it, but if there is, than i am wrong. Also if we just are reincarnated or whatever else, than it doesn't matter if i believed in god or not, but if god is real, which i am sure he is, than it will matter if I believed in him or not. so i choose to believe in him. The way that i chose christianity is A)because it's the most prominant religion arounf my parts
and B) because i have experienced the truth before. i know this is all really confuzing how i wrote this, but the level of thaught that i went through to come to this conclusion was way to deep to explain.

I don't think beliefs are the way to go. Beliefs are hard to change. It's like they are set in stone. I recommend having an idea about religion and working with that. That may sound "wishy-washy" and very non-committal, but who am I to say who is right and who is wrong. And if I am wrong and there is only one "right" religion, then yes, I would be humbled.

I think many people will find out that they are wrong. In Christianity there can only be one right way. Scripture says straight is the gate and narrow the way and few there be that find it. God is fair and everyone will have a chance for salvation and many people will be very humble.

Nobody knows what happens after death. The best a person can do is to make an informed, rational decision about what and what not to believe based on what little available information there is. That, and be accountable to yourself for every minute of your life... 'cause this is the only one we really know we get.

I know that not choosing to follow Jesus means you are making a chose to follow someone else. There is just too much evidence to not follow him. Over 200 prophecies tell of the unique circumstances regarding His birth and death...I will not be humbled for making a wrong choice because I followed the truth without reservation.

If we're wrong about an afterlife then we're dead and nobody can hurt us.

Remember the famous saying of comedian Jackie Vernon or was it George Burns, "death is easy, its dying that's the hard part."

if your wrong then nothing happens. people will keep believing just like you did, people will have hope that doing good is worth something, people will think they can reunited with loved ones, people will go to church and pray when some one they know is sick, because you have to be dead to know if you are wrong or right, people who are alive can still hope and what happens if you are right? what happens if you go to heaven? Isnt worth believing in because even if you are wrong you wont know but what if you do go to heaven, then what, think about how great it would be, or think about if you go to the fiery pits of hell, then youll want to go back and change your actions, youll want to go back and faith in god but its too late because you waited until you had proof and were stuck in hell. so y not believe?

I am a christian and i believe in god and in heaven

we can't help it if we're wrong... we have to just live this life as best we can according to whatever our beliefs may be, and hope for the best. yes, i will be humbled but hey, what can i do about it? there's no way for us to know.
