Q: Why can't we see Allah?
A: The eyesight can't reach Him and He can reach the vision (power of seeing).
Translation of: Ayah 113 Surat AlAna'm.
closest description i can find:
"God is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The parable of His light is as if there were a niche and within it a lamp: The lamp enclosed in glass: The glass as it were a brilliant star: Lit from a blessed tree, an olive, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil is well-nigh luminous, though fire scarce touched it: Light upon Light! God doth guide whom He will to His light: God doth set forth parables for men: and God doth know all things."
[Qur'an 24:36]

I believe he is a spirit. therefore No form. So picture this:
Nothing!
Source: Bible
Now that brings to mind a question. What or which god are you talking about. The four - as in the trinity: [father, who is the son, son, holy ghost, and the father] - or, the Jesus persona?

Since no one has seen Him, no one could give you a straight answer. All I know is that He would be the most glorious entity I have ever seen. One day I will see his fully glory, but until then I am clueless. I cannot begin to fathom his appearance.

God does not have form. He is ethereal. He is genderless too, but since religion came about in masculine-centric societies, God is a He.

The Bible says Jesus said when you have seen ME you have seen the Father (referring to the trinity, that is God is 3 in 1, the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit). Soooo.....
What does God look like? Well, God is a spirit (John 4:24), and so His appearance is not like anything we can describe.
Exodus 33:20 tells us, “But," he said, "you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live.” As sinful human beings, we are incapable of even seeing God in all His glory and living. His appearance is utterly unimaginable and too glorious to be safely perceived by sinful man.
The Bible describes God appearing to people on various occasions. These should not be understood as describing exactly what God looks like, but rather as God revealing Himself to us in a way that we can understand. Two passages that powerfully describe God’s appearance are Ezekiel 1:26-28 and Revelation 1:14-16.
Ezekiel 1:26-28, “Above the expanse over their heads was what looked like a throne of sapphire, and high above on the throne was a figure like that of a man. I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded him. Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him.” Revelation 1:14-16, “His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. In his right hand he held seven stars, and out of his mouth came a sharp double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.”
These passages represent Ezekiel’s and John’s best attempts at describing the glory of God that they witnessed. They had to use symbolic language and similes to describe that for which human language has no words, i.e., “what appeared like,” “like the appearance,” “he looked like,” etc. We do know that when we are in heaven, “we shall see Him as He is” (1 John 3:3). Sin will be no more, and we will be able to perceive God in all His glory.
Also, if you research the Shroud of Turin, and eventually believe it IS the burial cloth of Jesus through which He was raiased to life again by the Father's power, check this web sight out. The Bible does say somewhere in Isaiah that there was nothing in His countenance that would appeal to a human, and Ithink these renderings and images they take from the cloth/ shroud show that same kind of a face. http://www.factsplusfacts.com/

The Bible says that Jesus and the Father made man in their image. So they would resemble man, but my guess would be with white flowing hair and they would be so lite up with holy spirit that you could not look at them and live.

whatever you want him to look like. i doubt he has a corporeal form. to me all those tv shows and cartoons depicting god as a huge old bearded man is bullshit, but hey, if you wanna think of a god who looks like THAT, whatever.
