Whats hard? I like setting up new equipment.
The real problem is that there is a lot of different types of equipment with different connection types to hook up to:
VIDEO: composite, svideo, component, RF, DVI
AUDIO: L/R analog, Optical Coaxial
Things will get better when more people have HDMI where 1 cable carries everything.

I went back to 'basic cable', all I needed was the coax from the wall to my tv, no box needed. I saved a fortune. If I like a movie well enough to buy it from tv, more than likely I will want to watch it again, so I buy my movies, most when they get old and some as soon as they come out on dvd.
