Help me to understand how in the WORLD PPL believe in Scientology???? That they truly believe they are worshipping some alien??? That's just Satan in disguise to keep ppl away from God, in my point of view. Alright, Im ready for the hate comments---shoot!

Apparently 99% of scientologists do not believe that. People keep telling them that is what they believe. According to the anti-scientology sites thats all supposed to be "secret knowledge known only to those at the top". So its kindof like asking how christians can believe that Jesus was married (which is also supposed to be "secret info known only at the top")
I hung around their centers for a couple of years taking courses (good stuff, I still use it all the time). The only reason I know anything about that stuff is that it keeps getting posted here by anti-scientology posters every time the word scientology shows up in a question. :-)
Apparently a real good informative source for what you want is South Park, or the ClamBake web site.
I prefer more neutral sites such as

but I know that isnt as much fun.

Most of the people in scientology go in with good intentions. They want to help other people and find some kind of greater awareness for themselves. They're told all these awesome things about how great it is, how it's going to help improve their lives, cure their illnesses and higher their IQ, etc. They are also told that the main goal of scientology is to "clear the planet" which means to get everyone on earth into scientology because "it's the only way". They don't know that just about every step along they're exposed to brainwashing tecniques and little by little they come to believe all the bizarre crap they're being told. I believe that the higher up they go on this pyramid the more f'd up they get. It's very dangerous and should seriously be stopped.

It's just the new celebrity trend, like Kaballah was at one time. It's really sad ppl will make up anything. For God's sake, a write of sci fi came up with it!!! Gullibility is defintely a human weakness.

I understand why people are attracted to this idea, to be connected with god in your own way (for just the low low price of everything you can spare) however I consider it to be a dangerous cult, maybe not in to poison punch way, but certainly the ending very badly way.

I also think Scientology is BOGGUS. It is the devil Satan trying to get people away from GOD, the Creater. WHen people believe in this BOGGUs, they are letting Satan win!!!
