Yesterday evening I was outside for about 15 minutes in the dark...and a couple minutes later, my leg started to itch in a couple places. I went inside and had, what appeared to be, two bug bites. They were swollen...and this morning I itched them a little more than I should have, and now they're completely red, but less swollen. I recently watched a news report on Staph/MRSA and it's freaking me out...(I have an anxiety disorder). It's a bug bite, right? :/ I would have other symptoms if it was Staph/MRSA, right?

It is a bug bite but if you keep scratching it you could end up with a bacterial infection. Go get an anti-itch cream to put on it!

It's a bug bite, quit scratchin it, get some cortisone cream. MRSA usually happens in people who are immunocompromised or recently had surgery and get staph from a hospital setting or other communal living (locker rooms, prisons, nursing homes).

Your fine, calm down!! Get the cortisone cream and quit scratching it.

It's a bug bite. Go to the drug store and get some anti-itch cream and you will be fine. Remember, the more you scratch, the more it itches. :)

It's a bug bite. So relax, put some alcohol on it, and pray for it to stop itching.
