probably the best approach would be to promise her that you two will do something that she wants to do next weekend... like if she wants to go to dinner and a movie, that's what you do... it's only fair... if you do something one weekend, let her choose what you do the next.

As you should. At least your a chance of a financial return from your investment on the racing form and the horses. What chance are you of getting back any money you " invest " on your girlfriend? Very little to none!

well, did you? put yourself in her shoes and look at her point of view too. there are 2 sides to this, do you usually spend a lot of time with her, and she was just over reacting because you didn't this time, or have you been neglecting your time together, because if you have that can be a problem, she needs you to be there for her, and if your not lately then apologize and tell her your ready to make it up to her, and if you do spend a lot of time with her, and you just wanted to do something for yourself this time, then explain it to her, that you love her, but you really wanted to do this, this weekend, but next weekend will be for the 2 of you. good luck.

I am sure she has interests, too. Isn't there some activity or hobby she spends time on? A healthy couple has shared interests as well as things they do apart from one another. Still, I am female and I dropped some dough on Saturday and had a blast! Maybe she should try it!

Dump her and get new girlfriend who like horseracing.
Handicapping is very important, and it was the Breeders Cup.
It is only once a year you know..........
My friend is having the same problem with his girl. I told him not to call me with his pity parties any more, and when she sits down and works his job and pays his bills then she could spend his paycheck.
That is why me and my hubby have different bank accounts.
Luckily, he loves the ponies too!

Not sure about how you'd respond to that. But if a girl tries to take you over and stops you from doing what you like, she's not for you.

you should say" honey you know when i win you get 1/2.
but if you win $1,000.00 tell her you won $500.00 so you
get $750.00 and she gets $250.00, been doing that for
years, see you in the winners circle!!!!
