Meristematic regions on plants?

Describe the location and development of meristematic regions in an herbaceous and a woody plant.

1 apical meristems are on root and shoot tips and produce primary tissues resulting in elongation. 2 axillary buds are in the axil of a leaf and form branches or flowers. 3 lateral meristems are on root and shoot sides and produce secondary growth which increases girth. 4 intercalary meristems occur between mature tissue at the base of nodes in grasses and other herbaceous plants. they help regenerate parts removed by mowers,etc
