What is dident?

They can certain sue you for not making payment on the debt. They wouldn't call it fraud because you signed the application and used the account.

a very good friend of mine was sued by capital one.
Of course they sued her in local court and the amount that she had to repay was increased by attorney's fees and other costs...and since she had not paid the account in awhile, they did not trust her to make the court ordered payments, they just garnished her wages.
If you can pay it now, it would be a good idea to do so - it must have been uncomfortable for her to have had to face the people at work after the judgement order came.
Futhermore, the judgement strained and already tight budget. The judgement required that her employer withhold 25% of her income- this amount was much more than the monthly payment that they were requesting....
and it placed some of her other bills in default.
It was a huge mess
(and of course no one else would lend her money because of her percieved issue with making payments)
so if you have a chance to pay prior to being forced to do so, please consider doing so
