There are many reasons why satan and Jesus are not the same, but I'll just say satan is an "imposter of the light" whereas Jesus IS THE LIGHT!

You are referring to the passage in Isaiah 14:12 that refers to Satan before he fell out of God's Grace. Jesus Christ is God and Satan was an angel of God that rebelled and was thrown out of the Kingdom of Heaven with a third of the angels which are now demons who rome the earth. Do not be deceived. Read the New Testament in the Holy Bible and find out who Jesus truly is. Jesus said he is the way, the truth, and the life and He said no comes to Father except by him. Satan is the Father of Lies and the book of Revelation in the Holy Bible describes at the end of time how Jesus will once and for all destroy Satan and cast him and his angels in the lake of fire that burns forever. If these two were the same being, how could this be possible? Friend, Jesus loves you and He wants you to know Him. He has a plan for your life. I will pray that you find out just how great knowing Him can be.

The Bright and shining morning star, Venus, was once named Lucifer but it was named by humans, and therefore does not have any relation to what we are talking about. Jesus is a part of God, who came down in human form to die for our sins. Lucifer is a fallen angel who wants us to sin so that we turn away from God. Jesus wants us to go to heaven. Lucifer wants us to go to hell. Jesus loves us all. Lucifer loves himself and wants power. They are in complete opposition to each other and are definitly not the same.

I don't think so. Jesus the Christ is a compendium character of several prophets named Joshua of the same age (early 1st century, C.E.). Satan is a corruption of the ancient word for "Gods of other people". The Lucifer name didn't show up in the bible til the Middle Ages. Interesting, though.

Lucifer potential "son of the morning" yet nowhere is Jesus referred to as that. except for Lucifer is suggested in simple terms one position contained in the Bible and that is in Isaiah 9. It change right into a connection with the King of Babylon, no longer devil. Nebuchadnezzar had declare to be the god the morning movie star and the prophet change into foretelling his destruction. devil also seems in simple terms once contained in the former testomony and that is as God's prosecuting lawyer contained in the e book of pastime. devil potential Accuser. it truly is way later, probable lower than the effect of Zoroastrianism that devil and Lucifer finally end up conflated into our present day concept of the devil.

Jesus is never referred to as "son of the morning", just "morning star", in Revelation. Big difference.
It is highly doubtful considering this verse:
Luk 10:18 And He said to them, I saw Satan falling out of Heaven as lightning!

do you honestly believe that Jesus is a multiple personality whom is constantly fighting Himself? testing Himself? Exorcising Himself?
LOL You are not the first, nor will you be the last, to ask this question within all the ages of the earth. :)

I've read many theories on the life of Jesus.
Of course, I still believe that Jesus is God.
For your enjoyment though, I am siting in sources an interesting read on the whole "Jesus is an allegory for the cycle of the sun" thing.

No. Jesus is the son of God. Satan is a fallen angel. One is the Messiah and savior. The other is the father of lies. They have nothing in common.
