There are many reasons why satan and Jesus are not the same, but I'll just say satan is an "imposter of the light" whereas Jesus IS THE LIGHT!

If these two were the same being, how could this be possible? Friend, Jesus loves you and He wants you to know Him. He has a plan for your life. Jesus is a part of God, who came down in human form to die for our sins. Lucifer is a fallen angel who wants us to sin so that we turn away from God. Jesus wants us to go to heaven. Lucifer wants us to go to hell. Jesus loves us all. Lucifer loves himself and wants power. They are in complete opposition to each other and are definitly not the same.
