I've been thinking about this.
I've been reasoning that since Sunday is supposed to be set aside for the Lord and for rest, it is even worse to commit a mortal sin on Sunday.
(Now I feel even more guilty)
You have to understand something, this is where my Obsessive Compulsive disorder mentality comes in. (Yes, I have it and it stinks. It has really knocked me off course in life. I haven't even told any adults about it either. I'm a teen.)
Since I have ocd, I have an urge or compulsion to commit that sin again on a day that's not Sunday.
However, I don't think God would agree with a person (such as myself) having to commit a mortal sin again on a non Sunday to make up for the time I've commited a mortal sin on Sunday.
Please, no insults about my disease. That's the last thing I need.

God doesn't exist. Sin is an outdated concept. Religion is just superstition.
Don't run your life based on 2000 year old lists of rules created by zealots.

I have EXACTLY the same problem as you, right down to the repeating of it on a non-Sunday.
I do it a lot, but I ask for forgiveness. I've asked many times for God to help me stop, but I keep giving in.
It's true, all sins are equal. Ask God for forgiveness and you will be okay. But you must mean it and you must try not to do it again. Nobody's perfect, but everybody can get better. We must do our best to resist temptation. We must ask God to help us when we feel it kicking in.

[Assuming you're Christian of some denomination] - The Christian God rested on the last period of time and declared that one in the seven days should be spent at rest. Some denominations argue about which day it should be. Personally, I'm not of Christian faith BUT would reason that, dependant upon your beliefs, as long as you hold one day sacred, it doesn't matter which.
The matter of sinning is different - and you need to ask your god for forgiveness, if that is what you feel is required for forgiveness.

The wages of sin IS DEATH!!!
All sin.
God knows our heart. If we know that we need to honour Him on Sunday, it could be worse for us if we do not.
Like a crime with a weapon is more grievous under the law than if you were unarmed.
Similarly, if you murder a woman who happened to have been pregnant, you are a double murderer under our laws!
If you commit one sin, you have commited all ... it is SIN, period.
But God forgives sins If you repent, and stop sinning, He will "throw (away) your sin in the sea if forgetfullness (forgiveness)", so in the big picture, it doesn't matter which sin is bigger!

Sin is sin.
Forgiveness is forgiveness.
Ask for God's forgiveness. If you are sincere, it will be OK.
You cannot be blamed for your condition. Nor do I think God would hold you wholly responsible for doing things beyond your control. However, for you ease of mind, perhaps you need to seek some therapy to help you deal.

People do not realize that working on the Sabbath is a sin! A sin, is a sin, is a sin, no matter how big or small.
