I can't figure out, for the life of me, how this account hasn't been zapped yet; I'm quite overdue for it. In the last week and a half or so, many of our best atheist regulars have had their accounts deleted - regulars who actually added intelligent content, unlike me. I was overdue for it even before the Yamster's latest rampage. So how is this account still open, in your opinion? I mean, how does the Yamster work?

I have no idea at all how the Yamster functions, I am honestly shocked that this account hasn't been deleted. I have seen others be deleted in under 6 hours, yet this account has even survived 2 different infiltrations by our favourite psychopath CBG. Twice I woke up, logged in and got the lovely "Alert you're down 114 points"message, yet still it lives.

It is all about acceptance Zilla. The very situations that we most fear are the ones that will seek us out so that we may learn from them. The moment that we stop being afraid of a reoccurring negative theme in our lives and accept it's inevitability is the moment that it no longer needs to reoccur and it usually doesn't.

In other words, you have beaten your negative Yamster Karma by being willing to accept it.

Either that or all the report-a-lots have some how missed most of your posts. I think it may be that name/avatar switching thing you do. It's probably throwing them off. Just keep that up along with continuing to expect your eventual suspension and then you'll be covering all your bases.

Congratulations on your non-zappage! :)

Why can people have their accounts deleted for saying what they believe? I've seen a lot of rants on YA from religious fanatics of various faiths. Do they get zapped, too? I am asking this as a newcomer to YA and as a devout atheist.

The Yamster, much like God, works in mysterious and generally capricious ways. Perhaps he (God, not the Yamster) has a mission for you and is protecting your account. Or perhaps it will be turned into a pillar of salt tomorrow.

Or maybe they just got tired of deleting you!

I prayed for you.
Is a Yamster like a Hamster only it's standing at a fork in the road? Or what?

The Yamster works in mysterious ways.

Seriously, I suppose it's because the fundies are so confused by your questions that they can't find the report button. Either that or they're laughing too hard to report you.

I slipped them a C-note for you.

seriously, I am not sure, but I have heard that there are changes underway and I do know that one of our best representatives here is working with them to iron out our complaints in this regard.

Maybe it is working.....
