Lessee the media is portraing the war as if we are losing but i dont think we are. you see a while ago the "news" said we lost 80 americans this year in iraq. BUT what they failed to mention is that in this same year we killed 6000 TERRORISTS! thats a 75-1 ratio that sounds like we are winning to me. Ok maybe we accidently killed 250-300 civilians this year (or maybe through the whole war i dunno cuz' the media "forgot" to mention which) but the didn't say how many civilians the TERRORISTS have killed (in the thousands dude). so lets add emm up
6000-80 thats a win
1000's-200 thats a win too. it seems to me like we are winning its a sad day when america doesnt support itself. so plz explain this to me WHY DOES THE MEDIA HATE THIS COUNTRY? and why do ppl think were losing when we cleary are making progress in iraq?

We've definately turned things around. There is a minor miracle being created in Iraq, but the world won't see it until the dust clears. The President and the US military have done a GREAT job!

We aren't making progress. My husband is there right now. It's a joke. It's all being done for profit by our DEAR President and huge companies like Halliburton (if you don't know who they are, look them up). That country is in a civil war right now, and we have no business being in the middle of it. We've lost over 3,000 good men and women in a war that has no end in sight. Our people have killed thousands of innocent civilians because they were ordered to. That country is not ready for a democracy, and we're forcing it upon them. I say this, because every time someone new gets elected, they get assassinated.
We don't belong there- even the majority of the troops over there say that.
Your body count just goes to show how little you value human life. "75-1" ratio? You make me sick. Stop looking at the span of one year, and look at ALL the years we've been over there. That's a lot of people- a lot of men and women coming home in pine boxes, a lot of children left without a mom or dad. And you say that we're doing WELL? A human is worth more than just a number or name on a list of the dead.

Winning is when nobody is dieing, not 6000.
You understand the Iraq people hate you and want you out, ask them and they will tell you they love you, but at night you are the enemy that invaded their country and killed their families

the media wants to make a buck and will spin the story any way they want to...
its done everywhere from "vicious pit bull attacks" all the way to the war.
its a downward spiral...
