How do i Become A distributor of a foreign alcoholic drink?

I want to be a distributor of a drink i tasted in another country, there is only one importer in the united states of this product can there be more importers or can i be a distribute it or what do i do??????????? help on this, any advice would be helpful, like permits needed,capital needed? and should i contact the importer to start distributing anything is good

Unfortunately, if there is an importer in the United States who is distributing the beverage you desire, you may be out of luck. Most importers have exclusive distribution rights. However if the present importer is not distributing around th country, some territories may be open and the arrangements must be made through the importer wh has the exclusive rights.
