My United Healthcare insurance policy states that i have to pay a Copay of $35 for History and Exam for my primary and specialist doctor. Does it mean that i only have to pay that amount every time i visit the doctor? Or it is only for a physical exam. AKA History and Physical?

call them to be for certain but it loks to me that you only pay the $35 co-pay when you go to the dr for anything. the reason i say this is because when you go to teh dr, most times 9 out of 10 you;re going for exams. i mean the dr is going to run tests.

Your copay is usually per visit, not per service. When you see a doctor you pay $35 flat regardless of what exactly the visit entails. Some plans have a separate copay if bloodwork is done in the same visit, but otherwise it's all covered under one copay.

Every time you go to the Dr. you will have to pay the $35. If you have a copay for Perscriptions, you would only have to pay (usually 10 to 15 for ) for each one. It is combined pay, meaning that your payment is combined with the insurance to pay the bill. If you have major medical and have to go to the hospital, you probably won't have to pay any.
