My room is dark and I'm wondering how many times I need to pray before I'll be able to see again.

Pangel: It is a new lightbulb. I'm just too lazy to screw it in myself, so I'm praying to God to do it for me.

Pray till morning and you'll witness a miracle, your room will become light.

Pangel is right.....just get a new lightbulb........unless of course, you're blind, then you'd benefit from prayers. Sincere prayers always take care of spiritual blindness :)

I think i would be praying that God will help you find the true light, which is he himself. God helps those who help their self screw in a light bulb.

one to pray you won't hit self or stumble in dark looking for said light bulb

one to pray you don't slip and forget to turn off power at switch

one to pray the bulb you found will work

one after you steal from neighbor porch they won't find out

(in the end, you do all work and answer own prayers in real time)

Just keep praying ...god will answer it in a few hours(and then 12 hours later he'll forsake you but oh well)

I would really love to see a bunch of christians do that..... just to see what denial they would come up with and how long it would take for one of them to get frustrated enough to get up and do it....

You don't need light to see "god". Of course prayer dosn't work. You might want to help yourself.
