I have it translated as acondicionar de aire, but my teacher says that it's wrong. I'm writing a paper, my teacher won't give me the answer, and I can't find it on the internet.

It is "aire", however haire would sound the same but is grammatically incorrect, the other two options are completely wrong

My dictionary has air conditioner - acondicionador de aire, with aire acondicionado meaning air conditioning.

(I have heard them called el aire acondicionador, too).
