I love mine because it can handle a double batch of my great grandmother's cookies without any problems. I was wondering why other people love theirs.

I love my Kitchenaid mixer because it is so strong and there isn't anything I've tried to mix or beat that it couldn't. I even use it to mix ground meat for meatballs or meatloaf. Also, not having to hold a mixer in one hand leaves you free to add ingredients easily. The mixing blade moves around the bowl so close that you rarely even need to scrape the bowl. I wouldn't be without it. Of course, I have to leave it on the counter because of the weight of the item, but it's well worth the space.

I was just visiting my parents and made 9 batches of cinnamon rolls to freeze for them to bring out whenever they want. Without the kitchenaid mixer, it would have taken forever. Instead it only took 2 days - 6 batches one day and 3 the next. I flew out the day after that.

I love both of my KitchenAid mixers because I grew up with them - LITERALLY!!! My first one that still works wonderfully and has lots of attachments, but only one beater, was my mother's from in the 1940's or early 50's - whenever they made Model 3. My mother gave it to me in the 1970's when she finally bought a new one - and then conned my dad into buying her the attachments for that one! My mother is now in a nursing home, so doesn't have a need for it...so it's mine now also. The older one is going to my nephew/her grandson as soon as we remember to put it in his car!

As you can see, a KitchenAid mixer can work forever. Just clean it properly after use!

It works great. So I love it when I use it.
But the thing is -- I just don't use it that often.
Its great as say a wedding gift, because it will last forever and be really great when you need it.
But I would really think through how much you need to mix things, and the quantity of the stuff you are mixing. If you rarely do mix things, or just small quantities -- perhaps a hand mixer is better.

My Mixer:

I love my Kitchen Aid Professional 600 Series Stand Mixer and I wouldn't trade it in for anything I make everything from bread dough to meringues with it and I couldn't live without it during the holidays.

Power capacity can handle 8 loaves of white bread, 13 dozen cookies, and 8 pounds of mashed potatoes.

575-watt motor; 120 volts AC; 60Hz. wow...... (does the Tim "Tool-Time" Taylor grunting noise)....

hope this helps. enjoy.

I love my KitchenAid mixer. I rarely use it for dough, though. I use it for shredding cheese, rolling pasta, and grinding meat and stuffing sausage. If it broke tonight, I'd be buying a new one tomorrow.

Yes. I love my kitchen-aid mixer because it does all my mixing for me. I love to bake and decorate cakes. I can't imagine trying to make icing with out it.
