You know what an Hudge Fudege Sundae is, I bet you have enjoyed this treat so many times, but why is it a Hot Fudge Sundae? The fudge might start out hot, but do you really think that it will stay hot next to the ice cream? Is it better then calling it a Cold Fudge Sundae? Which really what the fudge is when you get it cold. Please reply with your thoughts, or if you knwo why it is called a Hot Fudge Sundae, when it becomes cold, and if you can provid a link to back up your answer, that would be great.

A hot fudge sundae is called a hot fudge sundae because it is made with hot fudge.

If you put cold fudge on a sundae, you don't really have a sundae, you just have ice cream with fudge candy sitting on top.

If you think about it "Hot Chocolate" doesn't remain hot, nor do "Hot Tamales"; once they are served, they cool off rapidly.
