This gets complex... much more so than the average rationalist realizes.
One person says that gravity can be demonstrated therefore gravity is real... but gravity is an effect in the same way that consciousness is an effect. Both are markers pointing to deeper and deeper layers of active reality.
I believe there is an intelligent first cause. I believe that everything in existence attests to it. Whether you're looking at quantum mechanics and consciousness... or the existance of Tau Neutrinos.. or statistical analysis applied to the evolution of the simplest biological organisms... "intelligence" would seem to be a crucial ingredient in the formation and maintenance of the universe. Who or what that is cannot be determined from the evidence, but that there is a consciousness at the core of all that is... seems most likely.

Because i can test it and prove it to myself. Your question shows your lack of understanding on the issue. Gravity has been proven it can be replicated. All Mass has a gravity. The amount of Mass stipulates the gravitational pull. Take the Moon for instance, it is smaller than the Earth and we know for certain that Gravity is less there. Thus i know where Gravity comes from, it comes from Mass. It is very easy to test. Drop something. It is also apparent in the way that Celestial Bodies interact with each other. Take the Moon and our Earth for instance. Take any other other Celestial Body. Gravitational pull is actually how Scientists judge how large and or Dense a Planet/Comet/Star is when it is too far away to measure.

Mathematically and in theory,it has been proven and even electrons hold gravity. Two opposites repel or attract, creating the force of gravity, from a minor to a major scale

1) Pick up a rock.
2) Hold it over your head.
3) Let go of rock.
It will hit you in the head. That's gravity.
(Now if you're going to argue that it's God pulling the rock down)
1) Pick up a rock
2) Hold it over your head.
3) Let go of rock.
4) Ask God in Jesus's name that the rock will not hit you in the head. or:
5) Have "faith" that the rock will not hit you in the head.
It will still hit you in the head. That's gravity.

It's NOT belief, it's called evidence and testing - something religions lack.
So you believe gravity doesn't exist? Okay, please dive - sans parachute - from a tall building, say 20 or more stories. If you survive, well, you might have a point - but I suspect my evidence will overrule your belief. Reality is that which exists regardless of your belief in it.

Because there's so darned much empirical evidence to support it. The fact that objects tend to fall and the fact that you don't fly off the face of the Earth due to centrifugal force is pretty darned good evidence it exists.
However, if you want to disbelieve in it, go ahead and live your life as if it doesn't exist--BTW, you might want to wear a helmet...

Gravity was formed with the earth. God made it all.
People above. Chi did not ask you to prove it exist,he ask you where it came from.

Isn't it funny the straws they grasp at. I readily admit I can't fully "explain" God, but the non-believer certainly can't explain the orgin of the universe, either. Therefore, even the most stubborn non-believer has to admit, something they don't understand or can't "prove" is at the root of all things.

you need to ask your doctor to give you more meds, because you're off your rocker! Gravity came from the matter of the planet. It is due to laws of pyshics.

Where did God come from? Can you prove it? Besides I'm not that kind of scientist. I'm a geneticist. And I can see that gravity exists.
