I want to take out an auto loan, if I want to get the car from a private party, can i still get a loan?

Yes, you can. Just choose the finance company you want to use and apply for a auto loan. They will let you know what they want to know about the vehicle. They will use the NADA book (National Auto Dealers Assoc.) to determine the value of the vehicle and that figure will be determined if it is acceptable for a loan. All of that will be explained to you when you apply. One very important thing, be sure that your credit is in good standing, they will check it. Good Luck.

yes, find out exactly how much your car will be and go to the bank and tell them that you need an auto loan for a private party, give them the details of the car and the priceand yall will go from there...
