I don't know if I'd complain but I would remove it from the room.

I read a few pages many years ago so my memory is pretty foggy. But it seems to me I read a "verse" that was also in a Pink Floyd song called Sheep. It was something about being hung on meat hooks in high places by the Lord. I am not sure if Antone stole from the Floyd or viceversa, or if my memory serves me correctly. When I read it I was really young so I was pretty scared at the thought of worshiping the devil. As I got older I learned that Anton was actually an atheist, and the worshiping Satan was more of an act. The "religion" itself was more of a "celebration" of the hedonistic aspect of human behavior, the stuff that the christian faith preaches against. If I was to read it now, I know I wouldn't be disturbed by it but I might become bored with it. Next time your at a Barnes and Nobles check it out for yourself, you may even be able to find some stuff on the internets.

Should we add the Koran, Torah, and Bagavad Gita as well? How about adding the books by Poe, Shakespeare, and of course Harry Potter? Lets just tear out the beds and put in a library. The reason the Bible is usually the only book in a hotel room (aside from the phone book) is because it is the #1 selling book of all time (no kidding) and because in America, most individuals are Christian.

I would never go to the hotel again.
And what would you need the Satanic Bible for? People already know how to serve themselves, to live for themselves, and to make themselves first in their lives. There is nothing original about it.

There are some interesting points of views in the Satanic bible, but it disregards Karma, invalidating it.
I don't think the bible should be in the hotel rooms, satanic or otherwise.
I have my own (healthy and strong) beliefs, and I don't put my book in hotels (it's against my religion).
I forgive anyone who puts any religious stuff in any place, they don't know any better.

Yes, it should. For two reasons; it's more fair if more than one set of instructions is present, and it will teach people about something that has been misrepresented.

Well i wouldn't complain but i don't see why holy books should be in hotel rooms at all. However i do think that if they're going to have one book then they should have the other major ones.

i would personally chuckle, place a bible, a koran, and an anarchist's cookbook on the same nightstand.
Gotta have some good fiction laying around.

No, but maybe they should put The God Delusion or Origin of Species in there right next to the bible. (I've been at hotels that also had the Book of Mormon in the nightstand--and they were nowhere near Utah. Weird, huh?)
