Spirit guides? Guardian angels etc?

Question

I was once told by a tarot reader that I was 'protected'. This was news to me. Has anyone met their spiritual bodyguard?

Everything else the tarot reader told me turned out to be false. So I guess they were not very good. Just thought I would see what peoples opinion were of guardian angels.

but I have found that some tarot readers will say things like this for that feel good factor
you go away feeling good ... you come back for more

if someone is giving you a guide reading , then they should only do so along with sufficient evidence
after all guides are spirit , so if they can see spirit they can see others
as a medium , we are asked that before we tell anyone of a guide , we should give them information about a family member in spirit ... so evidence is provided before continuing with guide information
however , her intentions may have been good ... just not professional in my opinion

Im in agreement with Doma but for different reasons. Based on Christian theism when a human dies there is nothing until judgement day. You are asleep and not able to 'visit' or float around the planet, you are dead period.
When the war in heaven took place one third of the heavenly host was drawn away following satan and forever banished from heaven. They took up residence here on earth and "took the daughters of men, all that they chose..." and bred the Nephilim. After the flood they came back as you cant drown a spirit and are referred to nowadays as 'familiar spirits'. The implication being not so obvious.
Familiar with what you say? They know your fears, anxieties, hopes etc. They "know" your deceased 'Aunt Sara' and will appear as her to mislead you, the end result is your death. Satans #1 objective is to separate us from our Father. Whatever you believe in, believe this: there is an intelligence to the universe, not randomness, not chaos and there is no way your (or mine) great, great x350,000 grandfather is a chimpanzee or an ameboa. We were created by intelligent design. If you've got the stomach for it ask to sit in with a forensic examiner or coroner. Its startingly clear that the human body was engineered.
Anyway dont mess with that tarot stuff it opens doorways to dark paths that you might not be able to return from.

The idea that each person has a "guardian angel" comes from this passage among others.

Matthew 18:10 "See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.

This passage presupposes that the person whom God has assigned a guardian angel to is someone who is going to be with God for all eternity.

Hebrews 1:13 And to which of the angels has he ever said, "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet"? 14 Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?

The only "spirit guide" that comes from God is the Holy Spirit who indwells believers. Other "spirit guides" and angels that might gather around a human being are evil spirits and fallen angels bent on keeping the person from God so that they might join them in the Lake of Fire at the end of this age.

2 Corinthians 11:14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons,

We are all protected by guardian angels. Spirit guide is just the new hip new age term of the same thing. And stay away from thos Tarot readers. They are just taking your money and laughing when you leave.

We are all protected by a spirit guide or gaurdian angel. We are just not aware of it most of the time. But having said that when you think how bad some peoples lives are how much worse could it get for them without a gaurdian angel?

It´s not my table. If you whant ...Think on the DNA-tecnic.
It´s not religion (yet) or spirit. It´s a way to a new life,, live.

I like Pangel's answer - she makes a lot of sense. I was told by a medium that I had a Guardian - he was my Grandfather and his name is Bill - which is absolutely correct. There is no way she could have known that - it was my 1st visit and she was a stranger to me. She gave me so much information and advice - all of it was spot on. You don't need to meet your Guardian - just trust and believe that you are cared for and your life will be so much better.

God is the guy who keeps you. God under no circumstances sleeps. Psalm 121. Hebrew one million:4 or verse 7, says that angels are ministering spirits, messengers of God. to end God's purpose. Angels are to no longer be worshipped or given tremendous value. they are doing God's artwork. no longer their very own. seem "angels" up in a concordance. maximum Bibles have a concordance interior the decrease back. Google "angels verses" The Bible is the source to bypass.

You can be protected by a thought-form
Or by a spell
Or by your own body
Or by millions of occult stuff...
I haven't met my spiritual bodyguard...and I don't think that I ever will...who needs bodyguards ?

If we were protected by guardian angels, none of us would come to any harm would we, what an absolute load of crap this is, why waste your time even thinking mabout it.
