Ok, when me and my boyfriend have sex, he uses a condom that has a spermicide in it. When he does, it burns extremely bad when he's inside of me and I really just can't focus anymore.
Could I be allergic to latex? Could I be allergic to spermicide?
I mean, the only time it ever does burn is when we have sex. Whats going on?

Yes u may be allegic to spermicide or condoms. Try using consoms without the spermicide. If they don't bother u then u know what it was. If they still do then u may be allergic to Latex. There r special condoms that r 4 ppl with this prob. Ask ur doctor if need be just to make sure.

You could be allergic to either or both. You can do several things; (1) have him use a condom without spermicide; (2) use additional lubrication in case you're not lubricating enough (3) use a vinyl condom instead of latex.

Try using condoms without spermicide - maybe just once. See how that feels. Many people are "allergic" to the spermicide.
It's one of those chemicals that can cause a lot of irritation in some people.
You may even try a different brand of condoms? I'm not really sure.

it's probably the latex because i've never heard of anyone being allergic to spermicide.
try looking it up online...but there are condoms out there that do not have latex.
he could buy one of those, or simply NOT buy condoms with spermicide; that way you can determine which of those two is causing the burning

you should tell your boyfriend to not use the spermicide ones and if it still burn after that your allergic to latex

It is possible, best try other types of condoms that don't have spermicide. That's the most common condom related allergy due to a certain chemical in them.

Same thing happens to me with flavored condoms. You are just allergic to them. No big deal right? You can buy certain ones for different reasons. But yeah you are allergic, so dont worry.

if your skin is real sensitive to things it could be the spermicide or the latex, try something else or if you only have one boyfriend go on the pill or get a patch, you could get a major infection with this and let me tell you that is no fun.

try using a different or no spermicide and see if it still hurts then try with a different brand of condom ---- about all i can suggest --- best wishes

make sure it's well lubricated, and yes you could be allergic to latex. try a new kind and see if it helps.
