I went to take a look at the following questions:

After scrolling for 5 minutes, I noticed there was nothing being asked. It's just someone trying to earn brownie points for evangelism.

I sent the person a very polite e-mail explaining that this is a questions & answers forum, not a place for people to spam multiple chapters from their respective holy books. I asked them to respect the rules of the forum, and concluded with "peace be with you"

The user responded back with a very hostile and rude e-mail telling me I was the one guilty of abuse ( I love how he tried to turn it around on me ) and " if u dont like what i post just dont read it" and "u better mind ur own busness from now on"

Were his posts Abuse of the forum?
Should we report him?
Was I being abusive towards him?

opinions?

YES! This forum is called QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS.....not I would like a place to convert you to my religion.

They should be reported for abuse as stated in the rules.

If you don't have a question or an answer...peddle your BS somewhere else!!

And NO you are not being abusive.

I would have simply clicked on something else, and not bothered to contact the person. If you had sent me an email explaining community guidelines to me, I would have found that to be a little uppity and nosy.

Yes, I believe it is a violation of the guidelines, but I usually don't report anyone unless there is a threat of violence involved.

I've noticed you have a lot of hostility towards Muslims. May I ask why that is?

To the one that said atheists are guilty of this, When? I 've never seen an atheist preach. Ask stupid questions yes, but not preach. I consider both of those questions preaching and usually don't respond. Or sometimes I will say they are and that it's not allowed. Depends on what frame of mind I'm in.

Not really. Long and tedious, but he is asking a question. You can chose not to read it, I usually don't read really long post like that unless it catches my attention. Besides cutting and pasting is almost like a form of Internet plagiarism. If it is done for a reference then fine, but if it is the entire content of your post then just provide the link.

Edit:
I don't think the R&S section is about preaching, nor should it be.

confident, i might! i don't be conscious of how people can manage their very own infants in a heartless way. the purpose of self-discipline is to instruct, to no longer inflict discomfort or terror. possibly those mothers and dads merely might desire to income extra advantageous techniques of correcting their youngster's behaviour...i assume it relies upon on WHY they stress their toddler to take freezing showers? Do they actually think of that it's going to instruct their toddler a lesson or do they do it just to be cruel... Being a discern, I understand that usually on your tries to coach your toddler, you sense at a loss, and could merely approximately attempt something. that doesn't excuse something like this, yet I merely propose that usually properly-meaning mothers and dads motel to techniques they might desire to no longer of their attempt to do their pastime and doubtless merely want some help in understanding what's suitable and what isn't appropriate. desire that made sense...

Possibly, as the question is supposed to be limited to 1000 characters and he obviously went over that. It is a Q & A site and it seems he did the questioning and the answering.

Hi, I just read both of the links you have on your question you asked. I fully agree with you. It's very long winded and repeated in several points and there is no question or questions the asker is interested in on his posts.

if we reported every abusive question on here, we would have no life.
And yeah, one lady asked a question about Evolution, I answered (politely), and I recieved a very insulting E-mail claiming I was stupid and didnt know my "bible-basics."
Just stay away from them. They're trolls, and have no intrest in your opinion if they dont agree with it.

Anyone who posts that long of a question can't actually expect a reasonable answer on this type of forum. Yes it's abuse.
