that is in Mormonism beliefs and some other false beliefs. Oh and there will Mormons who deny this but either they don't know their own beliefs or just plain are deceiving. They teach the husband must beckon the women of his choice from the grave to go with him as a god as his goddess and they become a heavenly father and mother of their planet where she is eternally pregnant with spirit babies to populate their own planet. Sound bizarre it is, oh and the god of this earth lives on a planet called Kolob. Think I know what you are getting at here.
True, religion is a male dominated belief system.
But that has changed greatly as of late.
Why not turn this around?
Men can only go to heaven if their wife is satisfied.
Now, thats more like it!

well in Islam dat wud make sense coz wats sposed to happen is... the guy is sposed to earn and feed/clothe and take care of all the wifes' needs, hes sposed to make sure that she has everything to keep her comfortable, if she has a problem, its up to him to sort it out.he cant oppress her in any way, make her unhappy, neglect her or deny her of what she desires if its Islamically allowed.He has to provide her with a house thats fit to live in, give her access to a good education, let her see her parents when she wants regardless of how far they live etc.In return, the wife has to cook, clean and keep the husband happy.Its that simple.Hope ALL retarded people get my point.

i don't know if you need an explanation related to a specific religion, but i think you shouldn't take it literally, i'll try to say it and i may be not fully aware of what you have in mind, being an arab muslim woman.
i think it means that you should do your best to please your husband, not by obeying him if he wants you to sin, but by taking good care of him , and showing him that you truly love him. the same applies to him , he'll be punished for not being a good husband or hurting his wife , it goes both ways.
no one person decides who goes where , men only wish .
