Giving Britney Spears lovies, I think this is great! While I'm not a fan, I think its awesome in this age with everyone laughing at her and saying nasty things, this church decides to send her some Jesus. What do you all think about them focusing on Britney?

Britney Spears needs for someone to help her and there is nothing better than "perfect love." Jesus can change the heart and mind of any person. She is to be most pitied because she is not mentally stable and giving her love from afar certainly will not hurt her. If someone doesn't intervene, she will do something worse than what she has already done.
The young woman is screaming for help and no one listens.

I agree that Britney needs some love (tough love included), and for that I think this church's motives are good. However, I also wonder if they are doing the same thing for the people in their community who have made the same kinds of bad decisions that Britney has. If they are unwilling to do that for their community, then I would have to say it's just for show.

Does even atheists see how theworld can criticize and continually mock someone like Britney AND the church?
No one is safe.
Glad to see that this church is stepping out in faith, in hopes that their love and the gospel will touch her heart.
The world is willing to bring this to the media for their benefit, while tearing her down.

It's just more Christian window dressing. You know, trying to make the Christian product seem more appealing to the consuming public.
