i myself doubt he's going to win extra suitable than 5 in a row, in certainty i think of it quite is the 300 and sixty 5 days the streak ends. yet to get to the question, confident, i've got confidence it would be a terrible ingredient for NASCAR. NASCAR is already dropping followers because of domination (and different issues), and if the followers that have caught with the sport ought to manage yet another long era of dominance, then i think of maximum might get drained and go away the sport. If Johnson does win extra suitable than 5 in a row, i does not be taken aback in the event that they went decrease back to the previous factors device or some mix of the previous device and the Chase. that is sparkling the superb ten races have been merely approximately made for Johnson (no longer asserting they have been), so they might probable replace the time table slightly too. i think of NASCAR might do something to end Johnson from prevailing 6 in a row or extra, so i does not assume him to get any larger then that.

I'm with you girl!! Woo-hooo. Good call on Knaus for Jimmie's pit crew to only put two tires on there. Congratulations to Jimmie and his team on their EIGHTH win in 2007, and for donating all that money to victims of the California wild fire. Also to all the people who matched the winnings. Very cool.

As much as I like Gordon, there's seems something unjust about a guy winning 8 races, and being behind a guy who has won 6.

Still, Jimmie ran a smart race, and he blew everyobody off the line one the last re-start.

Good race, JJ!!

I totally agree with you. Go Jimmie. But what happen he was 1 pt behind but then he was 9. NASCAR is ripping him he should be the leader now.

While I root for Jimmie, my 1st loyalty lies with Jeff. Don't think that just because he is only 9 points behind Jeff, that Jeff won't drive like it is his last race of his life. He wants the championship as much as Jimmie and he will get it as long as he doesn't make a royal screw up.

8 wins is incredible! However, under the old point system, Jeff Gordon would still be the "best".... and under the Chase format, the winner is yet to be decided.

It certainly was great to see Johnson and Gordon sit back most of the race to once again come forward at the end.
